rehearse and perform many and varied works, with and without
orchestra, under the inspired direction of musical director
Debra Shearer-Dirié,
Brisbane Concert Choir stages an annual
one-day workshop for the whole community. All singers are invited to rehearse
and sing in a performance of a major work
with orchestra and soloists. The choir also tours regularly, both regionally and
internationally.
The choir also maintains a large music lending library for loan of music to
other choirs within Australia.
