Season 2020
NO rehearsals up to and including 14 April

Stay well and safe

We are, of course, disappointed that we are unable to bring you our planned concert in early May: a concert where we were to join with some talented instrumentalists and soloists to bring you J.S. Bach's Trauerode - Lass Fürstin (BWV 198) and the Requiem in D (ZWV 46) by Jan Dismas Zelenka, a contemporary and good friend of Bach. We stopped rehearsing in mid-March to ensure that we were not putting any of our singers at risk as the seriousness of the COVID 19 situation became apparent.

We had another exciting musical year planned for the choir: we were to attend the Festival of Voices in Hobart in July and host the 2020 Big Sing in October in partnership with ANCA Qld/NT as well as concerts during the year. We miss connecting with you, our audience, and sharing the wonderful world of choral music.

As we approach ANZAC Day after Easter - you may like to experience again our concert Remember them All by clicking on the link Listen to the choir in the column to the right

Until we can see you again - we hope that you, your friends and family stay well and safe.
