Christmas colour_edited_edited.jpg

The Christmas Carol creations of Norwegian born composer Ola Gjeilo frame the melody of each within a soundscape that pays sublime tribute to the ancient texts and creates dream like delight for singer and audience alike

Gjeilo's carols are the vibrant hues of a December sunset through which the words of traditional carols float down through the centuries to entice you into the 2022 celebration season

In the beautiful acoustic of St Peters Chapel with the sun setting and Christmas cheer for company come join us and drink in this special blend of harmonic and spiritual serenity

Our last concert

Thank you for joining Brisbane Concert choir for its two 'Luminous' concerts in Brisbane and at Stanthorpe in June. Virtually the same repertoire but two very different concerts in style, equally-enjoyable. Both were enthusiastically received, typified by a few of the audience comments below.

"Truly wonderful"  "A most exciting concert" "My soul has been refreshed" "I'm still buzzing inside" with the beauty energy and excitement "We knew something of Bach but wow, what an introduction to Gjeilo! Thank you."
